Prayer points:
  • Prayers of thanksgiving, for God's grace and mercy over our lives. For God answering our prayers.

  • Prayers for the reopening of our Church. For smooth operation in line with the evolving government guidelines, as well as for protection over our attending congregation and leadership.

  • Prayers for WCBC: search for senior minister, for unity, for mission, for members of our congregation.

  • Prayers over everyone involved in the operation of church online resources and services.

  • Pray for the scientific community to continue developing our understanding of the virus, pray for God to give them knowledge, wisdom in the development of the vaccines. Pray for a working vaccine to be available in abundance for all.

  • Prayers for our leaders in government and leaders across the globe.

  • Pray for business leaders to make effective decisions which affect the lives of their employees, for God to give them wisdom and to help them lead self-sacrificially. Pray for those who are in financial difficulty and for those who have lost their employment.

  • Pray for those suffering from mental health challenges who feel isolated, anxious and helpless, and for God to provide them with the necessary support. Prayers for healing and to pray over all those who are affected by sickness. Prayers for vulnerable members of our communities.

  • Prayers for young people affected by the current issue surrounding examination results and over anxieties and uncertainties moving into further education.

Prayer points:
  1. Thanks giving to the Lord for His goodness, mercy, faithfulness and grace towards us, the body of Christ, WCBC, Church Pastors, Prophet, Evangelist, Teachers and all labourers in the Vineyard. Thank Him for his sustaining Grace and strength. Thank you Lord for you have protected us and preserved us. Psalm 150, psalm 32:11.

  2. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 2Cor 10:4
    We pull down every stronghold in our lives, in our family, in our churches, in UK.

  3. The Armour of God Ephesians 6:10-18, stand against the forces of darkness.

    • Pray that the TRUTH, protect us from Deception of satan which can lead to sin.
    • Breast plate of RIGHTEOUSNESS will protect us from UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
    • PEACE (shoes) protect us from CONFUSION
    • FAITH (shield) protects us UNBELIEF
    • Sword of the Spirit, The Word of God, is both as offensive and defensive weapon
       
  4. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, Rev 12:7 We cannot fight and be victorious while living in SIN War, fight and take what belongs to you. Command light to shine in your darkness. We give satan no legal ground in our lives.

  5. A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. Psalm 144:1. Go beyond praying and war for our Church WCBC destiny to be fulfilled. Lets war for the destiny of United Kingdom, London to be established.

  6. Matt 28:19-20. The great commission, Luke 10:2 Labourers are few

    • Lets repent for our failure to share Christ with others
    • Pray for the salvation of the lost
    • Call them out of darkness to light. Acts 26:8
    • Pray to unveiled their eyes to the Gospel 2 cor 4:3-4
    • Pray for more labourers to join the evangelism team of WCBC Lk10:19-20
       
  7. Prayer for our Youth
    "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid Deut 31:6.
    "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11.
    "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." Rom 15:13
    "The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him." Nahum 1:7
    "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil 4:6-7
    Pray for a Godly focus: I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Phil 4:13
    "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

  1. Prayer for a shepherd after Gods heart for WCBC. Jer3:17, John 21:15-17.
    Bring to us your choice Lord
    Speak to such to apply and not held back by Satan
    Grant the leaders wisdom to make the right choice
    Grant us wisdom and discernment to recognise that which you have sent
    Ask God for wisdom to embrace changes led by God

  2. Prayer for WCBC members
    Teach us to embrace changes orchestrated by the Holy Spirit
    Deliverance from religious routine
    May the fear of God Govern our heart
    Tune our ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying
    Total Humility and submission to God

  3. Prayer for our Governmental leaders. 1Tim2:1-4, 2 Chron 7:14
    We pray for their salvation
    Cause them to be men and women of integrity
    Pour out Your Spirit upon them and make your Word known to them
    Make their hearts and ears attentive to godly counsel
    Open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light.
    Lord, raise intercessors for this Nation

  4. Grace and Faith to pray and fast seeking God Heb 11:6
    Jesus spent 40 days and nights fasting and praying in the wilderness to prepare for Gods work on earth. Matt 4:1-17
    Early church fasted during worshiping, as well as committing their ministry to the Lord. For confirmation, guidance and the appointment of elders. Acts13:2, 14:23.
    Hannah fasted for fruit of the womb and the Lord heard her cry. 1 Sam

  5. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
    Pray for the everlasting salvation of the Jew Isa 45:13
    Be a shelter a shelter for your people Joel 3:16
    Let the eyes of their understanding be enlightened Eph 1:18
    Restore all that has been removed from them Joel 2:25
    Lord, cause their enemies to cease from the land . 34:25
