Prayer points:
  • Pray for the universal Church
    the Body of Christ especially where it faces persecution (Romans 8:35)

  • Pray for the UK
    MP and government leaders (1 Peter 2:17)

  • Pray for the world For any place of conflict ,war ,disaster and food supplys (1 Timothy 2:1-2)

  • Pray for our community
    for individuals and issues that influence there every day life style (1 Corinthians 1:10)

  • Pray for world mission
    missionaries around the world spreading the Gospel (John16:33)

  • Pray for our church
    New pastor, leadership and the congregation (Colossians 4:2)

Prayer points:
  1. Worship and Thanksgiving.

  2. Prayer for Families in West Croydon Baptist Church who have lost loved ones.

  3. Pray for West Croydon Baptist Church.

  • For unity among members.
  • For healing of divisions in our church.
  • For protection of church members from further covid infections.
  • For sound mental health among church members.
  • For any in our church who are in need, that it may be made known so help can be given.
  • For preservation of jobs and finding new ones.
  • For more people outside the church to notice our website and come to us.
  • For the spiritual growth of all members.
  • For all youth work in our church and that none of them will wander away from the Lord.
  1. Covid situation in UK.
  • Thanks for all staff in the NHS.
  • Pray for their safety and well being.
  • That people will continue to obey lockdown rules.
  • That the death rate from covid will continue to fall.
  • That anti vaccine propaganda will be ignored and the roll out of vaccine will continue rapidly.
  1. UK Government.
  • Pray for continued wisdom for Boris Johnson and for all in authority over us.
  • Pray for better legislation to protect women from assault.
  • Pray for the mayoral elections in May this year.
  • Pray that overseas aid will be restored to 0.7% GNP as soon as possible.
  • Pray for all the decisions to be made concerning the gradual easing of lockdown.
  1. The World.
  • Pray for more cordial relations with the EU.
  • Pray for a fairer distribution of covid vaccine around the world.
  • Pray for the people in Mozambique to be protected from the current insurgency linked to Islamic State.
  • Pray for protection of girls in Northern Nigeria from Kidnap by Boka Haram.

Prayer points:


"My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever." - Psalm 145:19

Psalm 145 is a powerful symphony of praise and testimony. It is a cry of joy, proclaiming God's kindness, righteousness, faithfulness, majesty, glory, and love. This Psalm comes from the heart of one who is in complete awe of God, and the admiration and praise is contagious.


That they will be govern by the fear and integrity of Gods Word
For wisdom, knowledge and understanding
For Humility


Pray for member wellbeing and visitors as well
Pray that we will all fing Hope in Gods Word
Pray for divine health
Restoration of Jobs
Faithfulness in His vineyard
Individual and Cooperate revival to erupt in WCBC
Pray that God will build His Church and cause it to grow and be fruitful


Bring us a man after your heart
We seek for your perfect will and not your permissive will
Grant our leaders discernment and discretion

Praise and Thanksgiving

  • I will praise the Lord at all times; I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come let us tell of the Lord's greatness. Psalms 34: 1-4 NLT
  • Not unto us oh Lord but unto you alone be all the glory - Psalms 115: 1


  • We pray for God's mercies and protection through this ongoing pandemic season
  • We pray for all who are bereaved, ill (at home or in hospital), vulnerable or feeling isolated 2 Corinthians 1: 3-5
  • We pray for all who are in need - physical, spiritual, financial, emotional, mental or otherwise - Philippians 4: 19 - God, grant us breakthroughs all around;
  • We pray for WCBC members and attendees - that God will do a new thing in every life, transforming us to be who He has purposed us to be according to His word in Isaiah 43: 19
  • We pray for God's glory to manifest in WCBC, in all ramifications - Deuteronomy 5: 24, John 11: 40
  • We pray for youths and children, for adults and elderly, for men and women - that none will feel disenfranchised but all will find their place in the Body of Christ here in WCBC
  • We pray for WCBC leaders, for wisdom and clarity to know and do the will of God in His service
  • We pray for God's leading and direction for a new senior minister

Medical (NHS or Non)

  • We pray for safety and protection of all healthcare and social care staff
  • We pray for healing and deliverance of all who are currently in hospitals nationwide
  • We pray for continued downward trend to covid19 transmissions and deaths until totally eradicated
  • We pray for NH and care home residents and staff - for peace of mind and protection
  • We pray for MH services to be well funded and staffed and to yield positive results everywhere
  • We pray that those who are suffering from addiction problems and domestic abuse (increased during this lockdown) will receive the help and support needed, so lives can be turned around positively
  • We pray for wisdom of God to continue to guide our scientists and medical advisers

UK government

  • We pray that roadmap to ease lockdown will be successfully implemented
  • We pray that people will act responsibly and obey government guidelines in these coming days, so we all can live peaceably and safely
  • We pray against the spirit of disobedience at work in the land
  • We pray for a successful reopening of schools, colleges and universities - without any untoward repercussions on the nation
  • We pray the Holy Spirit will guide Boris Johnson and his colleagues in the running of this nation, so that God's will be done and His name glorified - Matthew 6: 10
  • We pray for restoration of successful business and economic life in the nation
  • We pray for spiritual reawakening in the UK, that every knee will bow and every tongue confess to the Lordship of Jesus in this land

Our World

  • We pray for an end to injustice and inequality worldwide - that world leaders will fear God and lead aright
  • We pray for persecuted christians worldwide - for God's divine protection on all, so the gospel will continue to be preached regardless
  • We pray for peace to reign wherever there is war - Myanmar, Syria, Zimbabwe
  • We pray for the peace of Jerusalem, that salvation through the name of Jesus may come to the land of Israel
  • We pray that spiritual reawakening will continue worldwide - that the message will sound clearly, that Jesus is coming soon
